DATES ASSOCIATED WITH BEAUTIFUL WEATHER: When I was married 15 years ago, June was THE MONTH for weddings. After all they say when you're married in June, you're a bride all your life. Maybe it's the symbolism of the season or the draw to beat the summer heat, but June 14th is a prime wedding date to grab. For outdoor garden weddings the June blooms cannot be beat. The following week, Saturday June 21st, is also popular for being summer solstice. It is the longest day of the year- perfect for celebrating into the sunsets. Late September has always been popular at the farm. September 20th & 27th bring on beautiful wedding days and cool dancing evenings. POPULAR DATES: Maybe it's the thrill of picking a fun date or that it'll be easy to remember (lol), but wedding date with a numeric sequence has always been a top pick of couples. 2025 has several fun dates including 4/25/25 Friday 5/25/25 Sunday 7/7/25 Saturday 8/8/2025 Friday 10/4/25 Saturday Whether it's picking a fun date or choosing what your venue has an available, make sure you are picking the best date for you and your spouse. After all, it will be your anniversary for the next 50 years. LONG WEEKEND DATES: Many couples opt for long weekend dates either for Memorial or Labor Day weekend. It can make travel easier for out-of-town guests and give the couple some much needed wedding recovery time to soak up the newly wed bliss. Memorial weekend is typically beautiful warm weather which is ideal for the sun soakers seeking an outdoor venue. Labor Day weekend can be trickier to accommodate family with getting kids back to school and sports starting up. Although, it's your wedding day so pick what works for you. Family will make arrangements to accommodate your wedding day. FALL WEDDING DATES: So, I know I'm probably a little biased, but fall is one of our favorite times of year (and most popular!) Apple orchards, pumpkins, mums are all in the top 3 choices of brides for fall decorations. Not to mention the cool dip in weather, making outdoor venues ideal spots for October weddings. If you are lucky like us, we feature an 8-acre apple orchard as well as gorgeous maple trees that burst with golden leaves mid-October. October 11th is a prime date this year for couples looking to capture all of the fun fall vibes. Photo by Leah K Photography Interested in snatching up one of these dates with us?
