You've just finished planning the best day marrying the love of your life in Lansing, MI., but the fun doesn't stop there.  You have a great week (or two) honeymoon vacation to look forward to.  As wedding venue owners, we love to travel during our off season.  Some of our favorite places to go is Northern Michigan to family property, Las Vegas, and Mexico, but we did honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

I am a HUGE over packer!  At home and when working as a wedding planner, I wear 1 set of clothes per day, but on vacation I plan on changing 3-4 times!  WHY AM I LIKE THIS?!?!?!
When it comes to clothing, less is often more. Here are some strategies to help you pack efficiently.

Roll, Don't Fold
Rolling clothes is one of the best tips I use.  On our last trip to Las Vegas, I was able to tightly roll about 8 outfits and shoes for our 4-day trip and fit it all in a small carry-on suitcase.  It was the most proud I've ever been of packing in my life. 
​ Rolling clothes instead of folding them can save space and reduce wrinkles. This technique is especially useful for items like t-shirts, jeans, and casual dresses.

• Efficient Use of Space: Rolling allows you to utilize every nook and cranny of your luggage. This is particularly beneficial for those traveling with carry-on bags only.

• Wrinkle Reduction: Rolled clothes are less prone to creases, ensuring you look fresh upon arrival. For added wrinkle protection, consider rolling clothes with tissue paper.
