1. Freedom To Use Your Own Vendors: Most barn venues are just that- a barn. They are renovated pieces of history brought up to modern code for couples to use for their special day so most barn venues do not have a commercial kitchen and cannot provide food. This gives you the freedom to pick your own food, beverages, photographer, DJ, etc. to make your wedding personal to you. (and hey, it gives you flexibility with your budget too).

2. Animal Pictures: See picture. The best part of having a small working farm is the animals. Cisco, our horse, is everyone's favorite. He is so gentle and loves the attention from everyone at the weddings. Let's not forget Hennifer, our chicken, Kevin the pig and Effie the goat!

3. Bon Fires: This also creates my favorite meal of the day- 2nd dessert. After dinner and cake, with a hot fire burning outside, your guests can toast marshmallows and make smores. It also gives a nice quiet conversation area away from the DJ for guests to mingle and warm their feet on a cool fall evening.

4. Beautiful Landscaping:
I know everyone claims to have beautiful landscaping, but if ornamental grass and rocks just aren’t your style, you’ve come to the right place. Cherry Barc Farm sits on 8 acres of beautiful apple trees, but that’s not all. We have dozens of gardens planted in a beautiful English fashion so it’s forever changing with the season. The real exciting news is the ½ acre lavender patch that is going in Spring 2025! It will sit between our wildflower patch and the ceremony area. Let’s say July and August weddings are about to smell amazing!

5. BBQ: ok you should all know by now how much I LOVE FOOD! And seriously barn venue food is the best! The pulled pork, homemade BBQ sauce, smoked mac & cheese, corn bread…..and now I’m literally drooling on my computer. Your guest will love the comfort food. I have seen many guests shaking the hand of the caterer thanking them for an amazing meal!
